Situated in a beautiful area of Perthshire, this outstanding 5-star venue boasts a historical and traditional exterior, combined with a contemporary and unique selection of suites offering the utmost luxurious experience. The hotel features a 3AA rosette restaurant, serving the finest seasonal Scottish produce and a relaxed informal restaurant and bar area.
This role is a full-time, permanent position with a shift pattern of 5 days out of 7 days, 45 hours approximately.
Responsibilities as the Head Pastry Chef
As our client's new Head Pastry, you will oversee the pastry department and the production of all patisserie items, whether it be lunch, afternoon tea, dinner or events. Your principal aim will be to create a guest experience that goes well beyond expectations.
Within your role, you will ensure the team delivers a consistent high level of food service at all times, through knowledge of menu items, awareness of commodities used and cooking methods. You will make sure that kitchen areas and equipment are cleaned regularly, whilst making sure health and hygiene procedures are followed.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We are looking for a talented and creative Pastry Chef ,who has a positive and enthusiastic attitude, combined with the ability to work well within a collaborative team environment. To be considered for this position, you must have strong experience within a similar role, ideally within a luxury, fine dining environments.
