This role offers an annual salary of £34,000 per annum, with a discretionary service charge giving you an expected earning package of £38,000 per annum.

Responsibilities in your new role as Sous Chef

  • Act as the figurehead for the kitchen operation, setting and maintaining an exceptionally high standard of food quality in terms of taste, presentation, and service
  • Foster a culture of development within the kitchen brigade
  • Create and maintain a safe, happy, and committed working environment that meets all current legislation
  • Provide innovation and new product ideas while promoting local ingredients and suppliers

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

Applicants must possess a minimum of two years of experience as a Sous Chef in either a fine dining setting or a 5-star hotel environment, along with a deep understanding of ingredients and familiarity with local food trends and history. Candidates should demonstrate proven abilities in managing people, showcasing a natural flair for creativity and innovation coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
