The annual salary for this position is £35,000, with the opportunity for additional income through tips/gratuities. There are also avenues for career advancement, including the potential to progress to the Sous Chef position. 

 

Responsibilities within your new role as Chef de Partie

  • Mastering the preparation, cooking, and presentation of outstanding dishes
  • Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop menu items, improve recipes, and introduce innovative dishes
  • Closely monitoring portion control and minimising waste to enhance profitability
  • Participating in the supervision of kitchen health and safety procedures
  • Supporting the upkeep of strict food hygiene standards

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

This role demands demonstrated experience within a fine-dining or rosette-awarded environment, showcasing adept management of all kitchen stations. Essential attributes include a profound knowledge of ingredients and produce, impeccable time management skills, and a commitment to staying updated on contemporary cooking techniques and recipes. A thorough understanding of health and safety protocols is also paramount.
