It's the 'MI Analyst's job to collate and analyse historic information in order to provide detailed trend analysis and commentary on performance both operationally and commercially.
Working with the operational leads you will provide detailed commentary on performance to be provided to both the client and internal stakeholders.
You’ll report directly to the Resource Planning and MI Manager and have responsibility for the production of regular and ad-hoc MI and analysis.
Key knowledge and experience required includes
- Advanced Excel skills with highly proficient VBA & SQL skills
- Strong Database knowledge - SQL Server
- Excellent people, communication & inter-personal skills with the ability to work as part of a small team
- Excellent Stakeholder Management and engagement skills, efficiently managing expectations & creating a realistic delivery schedule
Make sure you know as much as possible about the industry you will be working in, and demonstrate an ability to produce clear reports representing the company data. You'll probably need a degree, although it doesn't have to be an IT one - business, economics, statistics and maths are all useful, as is knowledge of data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel.
