Your rate of pay and hours of work

This opportunity offers an excellent annual salary of £29,000. The work pattern entails a 5 out of 7 days schedule, with a weekly rotating roster. Flexibility concerning working hours is necessary, as events frequently occur during evenings and weekends.

 

Responsibilities in your new role as Junior Chef de Partie

  • Ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation
  • Assisting in creating and designing menus
  • Working closely with and mentoring the commis chef
  • Managing food orders and correct storage
  • Leading the kitchen team effectively

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

Requirements for this role include prior experience as a chef in banqueting, catering for up to 400 guests, a diverse culinary skill set, exceptional communication abilities, innate leadership qualities, and the capacity to motivate oneself while also functioning effectively within a team. Additionally, owning transportation is vital due to the venue's location.
