We are seeking a talented Chef de Partie to join their team at their world-famous trendy city centre hotel in Glasgow, on a full-time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities within your new role

As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing dishes in line with set procedures and recipes. You will work as part of a team with your kitchen and restaurant colleagues while reviewing ingredients and deliveries to ensure all products are of the highest quality. You will also monitor waste and portion sizes while being a helping hand to the Head Chef along with providing creative brain power. In addition to these duties, you will consistently remain up to date regarding all hygiene and safety rules, and HACPP regulations in order to maintain high standards of food preparation.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We would be delighted to speak with candidates who have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced and high-volume restaurant in a Chef de Partie position. Candidates should have strong culinary skills combined with strong communication skills both written and verbal. You should have a real passion for food along with great teamwork skills and an eagerness to grow within the company, as well as having an adaptive attitude towards any situation in hospitality.
