Responsibilities in your new role as Chef de Partie

  • Preparing exquisite meals for customers.
  • Running a section and working closely with both junior and senior chefs.
  • Maintaining high quality throughout the kitchen.
  • Taking on responsibility for stock take and health & safety.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

The desired candidate for the role of Chef de Partie should possess proficient knife skills and a comprehensive grasp of kitchen etiquette, emphasising minimal wastage, cleanliness, and adherence to level 2 food safety standards. You must exhibit an unwavering commitment to upholding quality standards throughout all kitchen operations. Ideally, applicants should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a commis chef or higher, coupled with a foundational knowledge and eagerness to master classic cookery techniques and work with seasonal British ingredients.
