The annual salary for this position is £30,000, in addition to tips/gratuities. Employees enjoy benefits such as affordable staff accommodation and a rotating weekly schedule, consisting of four shifts on and four shifts off. There are also opportunities for career advancement, with potential progression to the role of Sous Chef.

 

Responsibilities within your new role as Chef de Partie

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes within the speciality section
  • Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, and recipes and developing dishes
  • Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
  • Preparing meat and fish
  • Assisting with the management of health and safety in the kitchen
  • Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

Essential for this role is demonstrated proficiency in a fine-dining or rosette-awarded environment, showcasing the capability to seamlessly operate all kitchen sections. A keen grasp of produce and ingredients, coupled with exceptional time management skills, is crucial. Keeping updated on current cooking techniques and recipes is imperative, alongside a solid understanding of health and safety protocols.
