We are collaborating with a family-run construction business based in East Kilbride, renowned for its commitment to quality and service. They are offering an annual salary of £23,000 to £26,000 and are currently looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Receptionist to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.


Responsibilities in your new role as Purchase Ledger Receptionist

The role also involves issuing purchase order numbers as needed and matching purchase invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes. Processing goods received and purchase invoices onto the ledger accurately and promptly in accordance with internal processes is crucial. Additionally, resolving any supplier or site queries promptly and professionally, arranging accommodation for site personnel as instructed, and maintaining an organized filing system are essential tasks. Reception duties encompass answering the telephone, meeting and greeting visitors, and managing both incoming and outgoing post and emails.


Your personality, experience and qualifications

Relevant experience in a similar purchase ledger role is essential for this position, and computer literacy is a must. The ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines is crucial. A methodical approach to tasks, coupled with high attention to detail, is necessary. Excellent communication skills are required, enabling interaction with staff at all levels across the business.
