Responsibilities in your new role as Property Accounts Assistant

  • Overseeing the purchase ledger, which involves coding invoices and entering data into the property management system.
  • Organising and executing BACS payments for supplier accounts.
  • Establishing new supplier accounts and updating current account information.
  • Managing sales ledger responsibilities, including processing sales invoices, issuing insurance recharges, and handling any other miscellaneous invoices.
  • Carrying out credit control responsibilities.
  • Offering administrative assistance to the team as necessary.
  • Responding to calls and maintaining positive relationships with tenants and suppliers.


Your personality, experience and qualifications

Candidates applying for the Accounts Assistant position must have prior experience in an accounts assistant or administration role. Customer service experience would be beneficial and strong administration skills are a necessity. The role requires a confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is crucial.
