Kingpin International is actively seeking an Assistant Manager specialising in Indirect Tax to join our client's team based in Cork, Ireland. For the right candidate, our client is open to exploring other locations in Ireland, demonstrating a willingness to accommodate individual preferences and needs. 


Your key responsibilities 

In this role, you will be responsible for establishing robust client connections and communicating effectively in various contexts. Additionally, you will identify potential risk areas, conduct thorough reviews, and know when to escalate issues. The position demands a client-centric and commercially savvy team player who can foster productive relationships across all levels. Proficiency in project management, including effective planning, prioritisation, meeting deadlines, and budget monitoring, is also expected. Moreover, you should demonstrate creative and pragmatic problem-solving skills while meeting with high-profile client to understand and help shape their agendas.




To be successful, you should possess a minimum of four years of experience in the field of Indirect Tax, with a preference for advisory expertise. An MA degree in Tax, Finance, Law, or a related field is highly regarded. Exceptional relationship management skills are essential, coupled with a strong ambition to dedicate yourself to personal growth and development. You will be a passionate team player with strong business acumen, enabling you to effectively leverage a diverse set of tools and techniques to derive insights from current market trends. These insights will be instrumental in guiding your clients toward intelligent and innovative business decisions.
