Kingpin International is actively seeking a Senior Manager in Indirect Tax to join our client's dynamic team, nestled in the heart of Cork, Ireland. For the right candidate, our client is open to exploring other locations within Ireland, offering you the flexibility to align your role with your individual preferences.

Your key responsibilities 

Your primary focus will centre around managing a diverse client portfolio and coordinating a cross-functional internal team to consistently deliver top-notch services. You'll have the authority to take the helm of client relationships, serving as the respected representative for the company.

Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring and guiding junior staff, empowering them to gain valuable technical and practical experience as they progress in their careers.

Collaborating with the leadership team, both within the tax department and across other service areas, will be essential in shaping and advancing strategic initiatives for the business. You will be responsible for directly influencing market approaches and actively participating in branding efforts, thought leadership, and client engagement activities. 

Requirements 

To excel in this role, you should possess a track record of at least 7 years in the field of Indirect Tax, ideally with advisory experience. An MA degree in Tax, Finance, Law, or a related field is highly desirable. Additionally, strong relationship management skills are essential, along with a clear ambition to invest in your personal growth and development.

Being an enthusiastic team player and capable manager, you should also have a genuine passion for coaching and motivating others to reach their full potential. Moreover, your business acumen should shine through, allowing you to proficiently harness an array of tools and techniques to extract insights from current market trends. Ideally, you will possess analytical skills, effective time management, and impactful communication abilities.
