Your rate of pay and hours of work
As the Database Administrator, you will earn a salary of £21,120 per annum with standard working hours of Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm.
This position is initially temporary, however has the potential to become permanent for the right individual.
Responsibilities of your new role
Working closely with the CRM Database Marketing Manager, you will take on a key role within the business to provide outstanding support to the team that will aid day-to-day business operations. Key responsibilities as the Database Administrator include the development of the database combined with cleaning, modifying or correcting the database records. You will accurately process cash, donations and other payments in an efficient manner and also manage the processing of 3rd party income to import into Raisers Edge, in which you will be the first point of contact for.
Within your role, you will proactively manage and resolve data query actions depending on the fundraising activity and support the reconciliation of income into the cash book alongside the Finance team. You will also be confident in providing high levels of customer service both verbally and written, with the opportunity to work with the volunteers on occasion.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We are looking for a talented Administrator with a positive and proactive attitude, who takes pride in providing unrivalled support and assistance in an accurate and timely manner. You’ll demonstrate excellent Microsoft Office skills and be able to communicate effectively and professionally.
Ideally, you will come from a finance/accountancy administration background and have an HNC qualification or equivalent. You will be a real team player whilst having the ability to work independently on multiple tasks. Above all else, you will have a friendly and enthusiastic attitude.
