Responsibilities within your new role

The primary duties as a Land Agent include overseeing land referencing for both pipeline and utilities projects, engaging with landowners to secure project access, and negotiating compensation claims. The responsibilities also extend to managing acquisitions, utility-related work, and CPO processes, particularly in the context of rural and utility clients. The role involves negotiating various land transactions such as sales, purchases, compensation claims, and the creation of servitudes/wayleaves, along with maintaining detailed records of landowner issues for effective communication with project teams.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the utilities sector, excellent negotiation skills, and strong attention to detail. We encourage MRICS-qualified candidates to apply, with a preference for those holding a Registered Valuer designation. You should have the capability to acquire knowledge and provide guidance on emerging property trends, along with excellent task management skills. A full driving license is essential for the role.
