Responsibilities in your new role

As the new Building Surveying Associate, you will work closely with other team members to provide support on large residential, industrial, commercial and educational schemes within the Edinburgh area. You will be responsible for carrying out survey work, including preparing schedules of dilapidations, schedules of condition and party wall agreements. You will also handle claims and negotiations with loss adjusters and service providers on behalf of the company.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

You should have an MRICS qualification or be nearing APC completion. Experience within the commercial property sector is preferred but not essential. You will be able to work as part of a team whilst having the ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously. An understanding of contract administration is beneficial however, training can be provided by the company.
