Responsibilities within your new role

In this capacity, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of clients' property portfolios, working closely in collaboration with both landlords and tenants. As the Associate Surveyor, your duties encompass supervising rental income and addressing tenant debts, overseeing common services for properties and tenants, ensuring compliance with leases, and facilitating tenant obligations for property upkeep and maintenance. Moreover, you will provide clients with reports on property management services, adhere to legislative mandates, aid clients in augmenting property value through rent evaluations and lease renewals, support property acquisitions and sales, process tenant consent applications, pinpoint opportunities for negotiations to enhance property value, conduct property evaluations, manage service charge expenses, and synchronise efforts with client agents, solicitors, and consultants.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

In order to excel as an Associate Surveyor specialising in property management, possessing an MRICS certification is essential, in addition to a strong comprehension of the real estate market, adept negotiation abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and strategic mindset.
