As a Property Manager, you will take control of commercial property disposals, generating new instructions and winning new business. Dealing with enquiries from commercial property applicants, securing viewings, negotiating and concluding deals through to sale completion. Specialist surveying roles within the property sector include Development Surveyor jobs.

Working in the Property Asset Management department, you'll juggle several asset management mandates at the same time whilst looking after commercial portfolios for various client entities.

Priority job responsibilities in property management

There are many varied responsibilities such as contributing to the strategy for the portfolios, asset management, property management and facilities management. In the main, the daily tasklist looks like this:  

  • Service charge experience

  • Tenant relationship management

  • Resolving any lease or tenancy issues quickly

  • Organising repairs through relevant channels

  • Carrying out inspections and action any issues

  • Administration of service charge preparation and monitoring of budgets

  • Credit control experience

  • Experience with Property Management software and systems will serve you well

What salary can a Property Manager expect?

Salary packages will be commensurate with your experience but a basic salary is circa £20,000 - £25,000. More experienced Property Managers can earn between £28,000 to £35,000.
