Tax Senior Jobs involve overseeing the tax compliance of personal and corporate clients. A Tax Senior jobs portfolio of clients may consist of self employed or high net worth individuals, partnerships, large companies, offshore companies or directors.

Responsible for preparation and submission of tax returns of their clients and may include Capital Gains Tax, PAYE and Trusts.

Tax Senior jobs may be responsible for offering both a compliance and advisory service and should have a good working relationship with their clients and hold information pertaining to the client's business and tax matters.

Tax Senior Jobs Requirements

The key requirement is to identify any tax anomalies and bring these to the attention of their supervisor or manager.

Tax Seniors should have:

  • at least two years experience in a Tax Assistant's role and preferably have gained some supervisory experience

  • good problem-solving skills

  • above average written and verbal communication skills

Tax Professional Qualifications

A Tax Senior should possess or be studying towards a specialist tax qualifications such as ATT or CTA. Throw in ACA and all three are the gold standard qualifications that big 4 firms like to see.

Tax Seniors will be encouraged to study appropriate professional qualifications with the opportunity to progress into an advisory function further on in their career.
