We're on the hunt for a passionate Sous Chef to join our impressive hotel client in Ayrshire.

Responsibilities in your new role

  • Positively influence all departments within the kitchen with regard to both the team and the quality of the food.
  • Have a complete understanding of every menu within your area of responsibility, ensuring that recipes are followed accurately, portion control is adhered to, and that presentation specifications are in place.
  • Inspect and control the quality of the team’s work ensuring a high standard of food is served to the customer at all times.
  • Compile order requests from the various sections and add them to the market list for the senior chef to review.
  • Ensure that the correct HACCP procedure is followed with regard to food delivery, storage, rotation and temperature recording.


Your personality, experience and qualifications

The successful candidate must have previous experience within a luxury resort/hotel or fine dining restaurant. Excellent communication skills are essential along with previous supervisory experience with a proven track record of leading a successful team. The ability to demonstrate initiative is also required.
