Stafffinders are currently working with an iconic Edinburgh Restaurant who are in search of a Senior Sous Chef to join their venue on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional looking to take their career to the next level.

Responsibilities in your new role as Senior Sous Chef

  • Work closely with the Head Chef to plan and oversee food preparation, implement improvements and enhance kitchen performance
  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes
  • Lead service during peak hours and act as the Head Chef in their absence
  • Efficiently manage stock orders and inventory
  • Assist in training and developing junior staff

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working at a Sous Chef level within a busy, high-volume service environment. You must be comfortable leading a team during peak service times and be passionate about creating exceptional dishes.
