Stafffinders recruits for a range of Electronic Technician jobs within Glasgow, Edinburgh and throughout the remainder of the country. Electronic Technicians are involved in designing, repairing and modifying electronic systems according to customers specifications. Electronic Technicians will build systems, then dynamically test, monitor and upgrade equipment/procedures as necessary.

To be an Electronic Technician, as well as being able to operate test equipment, you must have the ability to understand data from test equipment.

Salaries in the UK can range from £15,000 to £31,000 depending on levels of experience and location.

What skills must an Electronic Technician possess?

Electronic technicians can also be involved in designing and debugging. Key skills are soldering and assembling of electronic components, troubleshooting and solving electrical/mechanical failures to component level along with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, electronic schematics, and parts lists.
