Duties of a PVG Cook or Chef
Working as a PVG Chef involves preparing and serving delicious, well-balanced meals that meet the dietary needs of residents, pupils, or service users. Who Can Apply for PVG Chef Jobs?
Applicants for PVG Chef or PVG Cook positions should ideally have previous experience working in a catering or kitchen setting, particularly within care, education, or healthcare environments. To apply for a PVG, visit the mygov.scot website where you can complete your application online. The one-off cost to join the scheme is £59, though some employers may cover this fee, so it’s always worth checking with your consultant before applying.
