Our Directors

The Directors of Stafffinders bring decades of recruitment expertise and a deep commitment to supporting businesses and candidates across Scotland.

 

Their hands-on leadership, industry knowledge, and people-first approach continue to drive the company’s success and uphold its reputation as a trusted, family-run recruitment partner.

CEO

Jane Wylie-Roberts

Stafffinders is led by Jane, who follows in her father's footsteps has continued to lead the company from strength to strength. Jane has been the CEO of Stafffinders since 2006, following a successful MBO of the company from her father and sister.

 

Her journey with the family business began long before her tenure as CEO, as she was Director of Operations for many years after earning a BA in Business Studies.

​

In addition to her leadership at Stafffinders, Jane is also CEO of Kingpin International, a global Tax Recruitment Agency, and has been honoured with the title "Pioneer to the Life of the Nation" by the late Queen Elizabeth II.  Along with this, Jane is a dedicated advocate and active member of Family Business United and past Director of a local Chamber of Commerce. Most recently, Jane was proudly selected to be a part of the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women EMEIA Class of 204/25, as one of two women selected from Scotland. She is now a judge for future EY Winning Women cohorts and a judge for Family Business United's Family Business of the Year Awards.

Jane is also committed to education and community service. She frequently serves as a guest lecturer at a number of universities and business groups, sharing her expertise with aspiring professionals. Her outreach includes visiting schools to educate students about the world of work, with the hope of inspiring the next generation.

​

Her philanthropic efforts are notable; she has led initiatives such as collecting many thousands of spectacles for distribution in Africa to enhance vision and employment opportunities. Additionally, she serves as a trustee for the Bairdwatson Charitable Trust, which allocates funds to charities that aid individuals from challenging backgrounds in gaining skills, experience, and employment.

Director

Tamlin Roberts

With over two decades building and leading technology-driven businesses, Tamlin spent his career at the intersection of innovation, people and growth.

As Director at Stafffinders & Kingpin International he now focuses on how technology can help exceptional professionals find the right roles — and the right organisations — where they can truly thrive.

​

His leadership journey spans founding and growing the web-solutions agency Mercurytide, as well as leading digital learning organisations such as BOLT Learning and Sponge. In each role, he has guided teams through growth, change, and innovation—balancing commercial objectives with a strong people-first approach.

 

This combination of strategic leadership and technical understanding gives Tamlin a well-rounded perspective on what drives success. He recognises the importance of aligning the right people with the right opportunities and plays a key role in shaping environments where both individuals and businesses can thrive.

Associate Director

Graeme Reid

Graeme, our dedicated Associate Director, has been with Stafffinders for over 13 years, bringing extensive experience in recruitment strategy, team coordination, and client satisfaction. Starting his career as a recruiter, he has progressed through a variety of roles, gaining deep expertise in talent acquisition and management.

Alongside leading internal strategy, Graeme plays a key role in coordinating campaigns, liasing closely with clients, completing tenders and ensuring excellent service delivery across the business. His hands-on approach ensures projects run smoothly while maintaining strong, long-term clients relationships. 

​

Graeme’s commitment to compliance management ensures our processes align with industry standards and regulatory requirements. His proactive approach not only mitigates risks but also builds trust and enhances operational efficiency.

 

He also leads the integration of new systems within our organisation, blending regulatory requirements with cutting-edge technologies to keep us at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry.

Associate Director

Chloe Hill

Chloe carries a proud legacy at Stafffinders, following in the footsteps of her grandmother who was a valued member of the business in the early 70s.

With over 11 years at Stafffinders, Chloe has developed an in-depth understanding of the market. She has built long-standing relationships with clients and has supported candidates throughout their career journeys, often seeing them progress into new and more senior roles. Her consistency and commitment have made her a trusted partner to both clients and candidates alike.

 

An expert in all aspects of recruitment, Chloe is known for her deep industry knowledge, attention to detail, and ability to truly understand what both clients and candidates need. She specialises in filling the roles others find challenging, using her experience, network, and proactive approach to identify and secure top talent.

 

Working closely with local employers, Chloe plays a key role in supporting their growth by delivering high-quality hires. Her dedication, reliability, and relationship-focused approach ensure she consistently delivers results and adds real value to every partnership.

Business Manager

Ross McLuckie

Ross our Business Manager, has nearly a decade of experience delivering recruitment and talent acquisition solutions within large, complex, and highly regulated organisations. With a background spanning international operations, Ross offers deep expertise in building scalable recruitment strategies that support business growth and long-term workforce sustainability.

 

A highly experienced recruitment leader, Ross has designed and led end-to-end talent acquisition functions, embedding fair, consistent, and data-driven hiring practices across diverse roles and high-volume environments. His strong understanding of inclusive and skills-based recruitment enables clients to attract, engage, and retain high-quality talent while meeting regulatory and operational requirements.

 

Ross is known for his consultative approach and ability to build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels. With a focus on delivery, governance, and candidate experience, he consistently adds value through practical insight, robust recruitment solutions, and a commitment to high standards of service.

Executive Assistant

Chloe Gemmell

Chloe is a highly experienced Executive Assistant with over nine years’ experience supporting CEOs across a range of business ventures. She has a strong background in providing high-level, strategic support, with particular expertise in managing complex schedules, coordinating multiple priorities, and overseeing portfolios of commercial and residential properties.

Known for her organisation, discretion, and proactive approach, Chloe plays a key role in ensuring operations run smoothly behind the scenes. She brings this wealth of experience to her role as Executive Assistant to Jane at Stafffinders, where she provides trusted support at a senior level and contributes to the efficient day-to-day running of the business.

Team Lead

Scott McGarry

Scott is the Team Leader of our  hospitality recruitment team. With over 6 years of invaluable experience at Stafffinders, alongside 17 years working within the hospitality sector, he has established himself as a respected expert in the field. 

 

He works closely with hospitality venues to recruit for roles across the entire operation, from front-of-house to back-of-house positions. Having partnered with a wide range of businesses, from luxury establishments to boutique venues to placing talent in remote or unconventional locations, Scott understands the nuances between different environments and the importance of aligning talent, culture and competitive salary expectations. 

 

His industry knowledge reflects a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding outcomes for both clients and candidates.

Principal Recruitment Consultant

Matthew Atkinson

Matthew is a Principal Consultant, with over a decade of experience across recruitment, workforce planning, and talent delivery within the offshore, maritime, energy, and oil & gas sectors. With a background spanning both global crewing organisations and specialist recruitment consultancies, Matthew offers a strong blend of industry knowledge and commercial recruitment expertise.

 

Matthew is highly client-focused, working closely with businesses to understand their operational needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions. Known for building strong, long-term relationships, he prides himself on providing a consultative, high-touch service that supports clients through growth, change, and workforce challenges.

Hayley McMurdo

Hayley brings over 9 years of hands-on hospitality experience, alongside 4 years in recruitment, giving her a well-rounded perspective of the industry from both an operational and staffing viewpoint. From managing busy hotel shifts to coordinating large teams for high-profile events, she understands exactly what it takes to keep operations running smoothly under pressure.

Hayley specialises in delivering flexible staffing solutions tailored to each client’s needs, while also supporting candidates in finding roles where they can thrive in fast-paced environments. Her practical industry knowledge allows her to match the right people to the right roles with confidence and precision.

 

Known for her proactive and personable approach, Hayley consistently goes the extra mile to ensure both clients and candidates have a seamless and positive experience. 

Senior Recruitment Consultant

Jen Grove

With a strong background across recruitment and operations, Jen brings a wealth of industry knowledge and leadership experience to the team. Having progressed from a Candidate Consultant through to Senior and Executive Consultant roles, she has developed a well-rounded understanding of both client and candidate needs.

 

Jen’s experience spans working with leading providers and recruitment businesses across the UK and Ireland, where she’s built long-standing relationships and supported the delivery of high-quality staffing solutions. Known for her hands-on approach and ability to lead high-performing teams, Jen is passionate about delivering exceptional service and driving results in fast-paced environments.
