Top tip: Avoid questions regarding salary, holidays and the benefits of the job. You can negotiate these once a formal job offer has been made.
As questions will usually be asked at the end of the interview, make sure you always finish up positively. Smile, shake hands and thank the interviewer for their time. This is your last impression to make on them so ensure it is a genuine and friendly one. Even if it didn’t go as well as you hoped, remember that the interviewer liked you enough from your application to meet you – and this itself is a good sign.
