Responsibilities in your new role as Office Administrator

  • Perform general administrative tasks in the office.
  • Generate invoices and credit notes.
  • Enter supplier invoices into the Sage accounting system (additional training will be provided).
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Monitor office stationary and supplies, and place orders as needed.
  • Communicate with suppliers as necessary.
  • Supervise domestic staff in the main house on the estate to ensure work meets established standards.
  • Report on and resolve day-to-day issues affecting the farm and estate.


Your personality, experience and qualifications

For the Office Administrator role, we require candidates to have prior administrative experience, strong written and verbal communication abilities, proficiency in numeracy and working with numbers, and good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office / 365 (including MS Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent time-management and organisational skills are a must, as is a valid driving license and personal vehicle. Familiarity with accounting software like Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks is desirable, but training can be provided for this aspect if necessary.
