Your rate of pay and hours of work
This is a temporary, 6-week assignment where you will work Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. The rate of pay is £14 - £15 per hour, paid on a weekly basis with holiday pay accrued on top.
Responsibilities in your new role
Your responsibilities involve providing crucial support in the Mechanical Testing phase for specific subassemblies within a New Product Design. This includes conducting thorough assessments and tests on various mechanical components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Additionally, you'll be tasked with executing precise manual operations tailored to the testing protocols, ensuring accuracy and completeness in meeting testing requirements.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
- Basic understanding of mechanical components
- 1-2 years of industrial experience
- Experience in a testing environment
- Ability to follow test protocol with minimum supervision
- Detail-oriented and disciplined approach to tasks and associated documentation
- Strong communication skills, particularly when identifying and discussing potential issues
