Responsibilities in your new role

As the Logistics Coordinator, you will support the functional processes and services by performing complex activities such as conducting customer verifications through monitoring bookings and collections with hauliers and suppliers, alongside providing support for insurance and claims management. You will be updating all changes to rates, haulier details, and supplier information regularly. Additionally, responsibilities include resolving customer complaints, processing manual orders into the Transport Management System, booking collections and deliveries, updating customers on order delivery status, and attending to inquiries and requests.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

To be successful you must have hands-on operational expertise in customer service within a transport, logistics or supply chain setting, coupled with a sound understanding of Food Safety protocols. You should have robust IT capabilities encompassing the Microsoft Office Suite and be particularly adept at importing and manipulating data from various external sources. We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate high levels of confidence and who are fast learners. The ability to be proactive and an innovative thinker is key.
