We're searching for a remote (UK-based) Data Services Account Manager to join our rapidly expanding client who specialise in Data and Software Solutions. Responsibilities in your new role as DS Account Manager

You'll develop territory and account plans to achieve targets, actively manage a sales pipeline, and collaborate with the bid manager to identify opportunities within public sector frameworks. You'll build strong connections with key decision-makers like CFOs, data leaders, and Chief Data Officers. To uncover qualified leads, you'll leverage your own network, internal marketing support, and the partner network. To stay ahead of the curve, you'll become a public sector expert by consuming industry news, researching competitors, and understanding the company’s specific offerings. This role requires travel up to 50% of the time.


Your personality, experience and qualifications

To excel in this role, you'll possess extensive experience in public sector field sales, specifically selling consulting services. Your background will ideally demonstrate success in selling data-driven solutions like data management, analytics, and cloud computing within the public sector. We require a candidate with a proven track record of independently leading strategic sales engagements, managing the entire sales lifecycle from start to finish in the public sector context, and ensuring a smooth transition to project delivery. A deep understanding of complex service and software sales processes is essential, coupled with the ability to clearly explain these solutions and tailor them to each client's specific needs. Experience collaborating with key vendor partners like AWS, Microsoft, Snowflake, and Informatica is highly desirable.
