Responsibilities within your new role as the MIS & ERP Systems Analyst

  • Build expertise in existing ERP and reporting systems, including customisations supporting UK business operations
  • Resolve ERP/reporting issues promptly and prioritise according to business needs
  • Collaborate with business leads to translate requirements into effective reporting solutions
  • Log support calls and solutions in the helpdesk system to foster cross-functional support and knowledge sharing within the IT department
  • Manage interfaces to support systems such as APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling)
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements (e.g., SOX) and implement improvements based on audit recommendations
  • Support and enhance in-house developed database solutions used across the facility
  • Assist in data cleansing and migration activities through the development of extract programs from legacy ERP applications


Your personality, experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate for the MIS & ERP Systems Analyst role must possess essential skills such as strong proficiency in MIS reporting, SQL, and database management, along with solid expertise in Excel. You should also demonstrate a good understanding of ERP platform administration and support. Desirable qualifications include experience in data migration, cleansing, and SSRS familiarity, as well as involvement in ERP projects like SAP or Oracle, with a background in ERP customisations and integrations. Additional advantageous skills encompass programming abilities in VBA or scripting languages, experience in customer-facing IT support roles including ticketing systems, and knowledge of data governance and tax regulations.
