Your rate of pay and hours of work

In this role, you will receive a competitive salary of £11.44 per hour, paid on a weekly basis with holiday pay accrued on top. You can also enjoy flexible working hours and the opportunity to make a real difference in the residents' lives.

 

Responsibilities within your new role

The duties as the Catering Assistant include aiding the chef in food preparation while upholding strict standards of hygiene and safety, serving residents with attention to their dietary needs in a courteous and proficient manner, tidying the kitchen and dining spaces post-service, maintaining compliance with health and safety protocols, and collaborating harmoniously within the team to facilitate the seamless functioning of kitchen operations.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

Candidates must possess a current PVG certificate along with at least six months of prior experience in a comparable kitchen setting. They should demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the capacity to adapt to the dynamic requirements of the role. Attention to detail and the capability to precisely follow instructions are essential attributes for the position.
