Responsibilities in your new role as F&B Team Leader

As an F&B Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in achieving departmental and the Resort's strategic goals by assisting in the service delivery of exceptional food and beverage products to our valued customers. You will be capable of confidently running smaller events without supervision, contributing to the development of our food & beverage offerings, services, and training programmes across the Resort. Your responsibilities will also include assisting in the smooth running and supervision of banqueting events, ranging from intimate gatherings of 5 to grand occasions of 500 guests. You will supervise and lead your team during set-up, service, and teardown, under the direction of the Assistant Banqueting Manager, allocating tasks effectively to ensure all duties are carried out thoroughly and punctually. Executing events accurately and in a timely manner, exactly as specified on Banqueting Event Orders, will be key. You will continually coach team members, rewarding high performance and managing underperformance effectively, as well as supporting the onboarding and training of new team members. Exhibiting strong customer service skills, you will be the reliable point of contact for event organisers and handle any customer complaints with confidence and accuracy, consistently providing excellent luxury service to all guests. Taking ownership of the set-up and operation of audio-visual services such as microphone with PA, music, and screen/projector presentations will also be a core part of your role.


Your personality, experience and qualifications

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated individual with a genuine passion for hospitality. Essential for this role is previous experience in a similar banqueting, bar, or restaurant environment, demonstrating a minimum of 2 years' experience within the sector. Previous experience in a supervisory role is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to guide and inspire a team. Experience working across different outlets and/or service styles is also highly valued, as is proficiency in English to ensure clear communication with our diverse guests and team members.
