Responsibilities in your new role as Chef de Partie

This is an opportunity to do more than simply run a section. You'll play an important part in maintaining the exceptional food standards expected within a luxury hospitality setting, bringing precision, creativity and consistency to every service.

Taking ownership of your designated section, you'll prepare, cook and present beautifully executed dishes across breakfast, lunch, dinner and banqueting services. From ensuring ingredients are prepared to the highest standards to managing your section during busy periods, you'll keep service running smoothly without compromising on quality.

Working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute ideas for seasonal menus, explore new techniques and play a part in creating exciting dining experiences.

Throughout your shift, you'll maintain excellent food hygiene, kitchen organisation and stock management standards while supporting your colleagues to deliver a seamless service.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We're looking for a Chef de Partie who takes genuine pride in their craft and enjoys the challenge of working in a quality-driven kitchen. You'll bring:

• At least 1–2 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or in a comparable role within a 5-star hotel, luxury resort, fine dining restaurant or similar high-end hospitality venue.
• A valid Level 2 Food Hygiene or Food Safety Certificate, or higher.
• Strong culinary skills, including confident knife work, modern cooking techniques and excellent attention to presentation.
• The ability to organise and manage your own kitchen section effectively during busy services.
• A creative approach to cooking, with enthusiasm for seasonal ingredients and developing new dishes.
• Strong English communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the wider kitchen brigade.
• A calm, professional attitude under pressure and a commitment to maintaining consistently high standards.
