Responsibilities in your new role as Chef de Partie 

As a Chef de Partie, you’ll play a key in delivering exceptional food and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen. Working closely with the Head Chef and wider brigade, you'll help maintain the highest standards while supporting and developing junior team members.


  • Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes within your designated section 
  • Supporting and mentoring Commis Chefs to help them develop their skills 
  • Maintaining exceptional standards of food quality, presentation and portion control
  • Working closely with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless dining experience 
  • Ensuring orders are prepared accurately and served efficiently during busy service 
  • Contributing ideas for daily specials and seasonal menu development 
  • Assisting the Head Chef in evolving the a la carte menu 
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety 
  • Helping to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently as part of a collaborative team


Your personality, experience and qualifications

We're looking an experienced Chef who takes pride in delivering outstanding food and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will bring: 


  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role 
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and high-quality food
  • A professional cookery qualification (preferred) 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • The ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure 
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a strong team-focused approach
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation
