Responsibilities in your new role as Mechanical Engineer
As part of this role, you will keep machines running smoothly with routine checks, fix breakdowns quickly to avoid production delays, work with the team to find and solve mechanical issues, follow strict health, safety, and food hygiene rules, keep accurate records of maintenance and help improve how our equipment performs and lasts.
Your personality, experience, and qualifications
We are looking for someone with proven experience in maintenance engineering, ideally within a food production or FMCG setting. You should possess strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics, and be able to work effectively under pressure and respond quickly to machinery breakdowns.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with preventive maintenance systems are essential for success in this role.
