Responsibilities in your new role as Butchery Manager

In your role, you will motivate and inspire your team, providing constructive feedback and conducting yearly reviews to enhance performance. You'll ensure that top-quality service is delivered with every order, managing timely dispatches.

Additionally, you will streamline work processes to boost output, cut waste, and maintain material costs without compromising quality. Upholding strict food safety standards is a must, while also managing stock levels efficiently to reduce waste. Let your creativity flourish as you develop new product ideas and refine existing offerings to keep our customers coming back for more.
 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We are looking for an exceptional individual with strong experience in a production butchery or meat retail setting, including a minimum of 2+ years in a supervisory role. Your strong leadership and communication skills will empower a large team of 12+ staff as you guide them to success. As a trained butcher, you possess an excellent understanding of meat products, from various cuts to preparation methods and safe storage practices. You thrive in fast-paced environments, staying organised and productive, while also demonstrating proficiency in point-of-sale systems and general computer applications.
