Responsibilities in your new role as Restaurant General Manager

As our Restaurant GM, you'll lead the team, oversee the day-to-day running of the restaurant, and ensure every guest receives an outstanding dining experience. You'll set high standards, support your team, and help create a positive working environment. 

• A key part of your role will involve the full employee lifecycle, from expertly recruiting and training new talent to continually developing existing team members. 
• You'll provide dedicated support and coaching to supervisors and managers, conducting regular one-to-ones and insightful performance reviews to nurture their growth. 
• Ultimately, you will be the driving force behind building a cohesive team that genuinely enjoys coming to work and takes immense pride in delivering outstanding results.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant General Manager who leads by example and enjoys being on the restaurant floor, supporting the team and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You'll bring strong leadership skills, commercial awareness, and passion for developing people, creating a positive culture where both the team and business can thrive.

We're looking for someone with 

• Previous experience as a Restaurant General Manager or in a similar senior hospitality management role
• A proven track record of leading successful, high-volume restaurant operations
• A hands-on leadership style with a passion for guest service
• The ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
• Experience creating a positive culture built on accountability, support, and respect
• Strong knowledge of labour management, budgets, and operational performance
• A commercial mindset with the ability to drive efficiency and profitability
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence in coaching, mentoring, and developing team members
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment
