Stafffinders are currently looking for Chef de Partie's to work in a variety of well-established venues across Edinburgh and the surrounding area, including weekdays and weekends. Salary can be up to £30,000 per annum depending on the client.

Your responsibilities as a Chef de Partie

Your responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your section to a high standard
• Ensuring all food is prepared according to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
• Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
• Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Monitoring stock levels, report shortages, and assist in ordering ingredients
• Working efficiently under pressure to meet service deadlines.
• Contributing ideas for new dishes, specials, and menu improvements.
• Ensuring consistency in quality, taste, and presentation across all dishes
• Upholding the kitchen’s reputation for excellence and professionalism at all times.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We are looking for experienced Chef de Partie's who are ready to join a team on a permanent basis and hit the ground running. You will have sound knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements, as well as knowledge of health and safety procedures.

You should have a strong ability to work as part of a team and independently. As an individual, you should have excellent attention to detail, possess a positive and enthusiastic attitude and be able to meet targets in a highly demanding environment.
