Your rate of pay and hours of work
This temporary position offers a pay rate of £12.21 per hour, with weekly pay and holiday pay accrual. As a temporary worker, you'll have the flexibility to choose shifts that work best for you, with no minimum commitment required. Responsibilities within your new role as Kitchen Assistant
Your key responsibilities will include assisting the chef with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, and ensuring that food safety is always prioritised. You'll work alongside the kitchen team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.

Your experience, qualifications and personality
We are looking for candidates who have at least 6-12 months of experience in a similar position, preferably within a care home or educational environment. A valid PVG or Disclosure is required, or the willingness to obtain one. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing excellent service, maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards, and capable of managing tasks effectively, even under pressure.
