Responsibilities in your new role as Whisky Bar Supervisor

As the Whisky Bar Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Bar Manager, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our distinguished whisky outlet. You will: 

• Provide clear direction to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Maintain exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction
• Lead, motivate, and support the team throughout each shift
• Drive operational excellence across the restaurant
• Create memorable dining experiences for every guest
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage and Kitchen teams to ensure seamless service
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment

Your personality, experience and qualifications

You are someone with an undeniable passion for whisky and an in-depth knowledge of spirits; this is absolutely essential for the role. We're looking for someone with: 

• Previous supervisory experience within the hospitality industry
• Previous experience in a similar restaurant or bar leadership role
• Proven experience working in a busy, high-volume hospitality environment
• WSET qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to remain calm and deliver exceptional service under pressure
• Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
• A proactive, hands-on approach with strong team management skills
