Responsibilities in your new role as Whisky Bar Supervisor
As the Whisky Bar Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Bar Manager, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our distinguished whisky outlet. You will:
- Provide clear direction to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Maintain exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction
- Lead, motivate, and support the team throughout each shift
- Drive operational excellence across the restaurant
- Create memorable dining experiences for every guest
- Work closely with the Food & Beverage and Kitchen teams to ensure seamless service
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment
Your personality, experience and qualifications
You are someone with an undeniable passion for whisky and an in-depth knowledge of spirits; this is absolutely essential for the role. We're looking for someone with:
- Previous supervisory experience within the hospitality industry
- Previous experience in a similar restaurant or bar leadership role
- Proven experience working in a busy, high-volume hospitality environment
- WSET qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to remain calm and deliver exceptional service under pressure
- Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong team management skills
