Responsibilities in your new role as Restaurant Manager

  • Guide the restaurant team in crafting an inviting atmosphere, ensuring guests enjoy a personalised and memorable dining experience

  • Coordinate the weekly staff schedules

  • Manage liquor inventory, overseeing procurement to minimise waste and uphold security measures while meeting demand and controlling costs

  • Address customer concerns promptly and effectively

  • Stay abreast of licensing, health, safety, and hygiene standards, ensuring full compliance among restaurant staff

  • Foster a positive work environment through clear communication, regular team meetings, and supportive feedback for employees

  • Collaborate with HR to oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for new staff members

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

 We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within a 4 or 5-star luxury hotel. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures, excellent knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques, strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
