Responsibilities in your new role as Night Porter
- Ensure the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel meet high standards
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, lifts and other common areas
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and set up for events or meetings
- Respond promptly to guest requests for housekeeping services, demonstrating our commitment to exceptional customer care
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the appropriate department, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for all
Your personality, experience and qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role must have prior experience in a similar position, demonstrating a strong attention to detail and the capability to work autonomously. They should possess excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour. A solid understanding of proper cleaning techniques and proficiency in using cleaning equipment is required, alongside the ability to undertake physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods.
