Join a family-owned watchmaking business based in West Lothian, as they are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Leather Sewing Operative to join their welcoming team.

  • Salary of £24,000 - £26,000 per annum

Responsibilities within your new role

The main duties as a Leather Sewing Operative include cutting and hand-stitching small to medium-sized leather items, stamping leather, aiding in workshop tasks, operating machinery, delivering customer assistance, and assembling watches. No previous experience is required for watch assembly as comprehensive training will be provided.

 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

To be considered for this role you must possess prior experience handling leather or similar materials, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship. They should exhibit reliability and a diligent work ethic, thriving in a collaborative small team setting. While a driving license is preferable due to job location, it is not mandatory for this position.
