Responsibilities within your new role
- Coach and mentor Room Attendants to enhance the quality of their work and ensure guest satisfaction
- Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, striving to create memorable experiences for our guests
- Lead daily briefings with the Room Attendant team, highlighting VIP guests and setting daily objectives
- Uphold health and safety standards, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and adherence to safety protocols
- Assist in scheduling and assigning tasks to housekeeping staff to maximise efficiency and productivity
- Utilise your communication skills to liaise with other hotel departments, ensuring smooth service delivery to all guests
Your personality, experience and qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role should have previous experience in housekeeping or a related field, with a preference for supervisory experience. Additionally, strong communication and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and products is also required to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
