Your rate of pay and hours of work
These temporary positions currently have a pay rate of £14.00 to £18.00 per hour depending on client and experience level. Wages are paid weekly and you accrue holiday pay on all assignments worked. There are various, flexible shifts available, including weekdays, weekends and long-term assignments, working in various types of venues and operations (some offering accommodation too!). You have the freedom to select your own shifts, and the security of having no minimum commitment, so you can work as and when it suits you.
Responsibilities in your new role
This is a role where you can take pride in the dishes you produce - some of the duties include:
- Cooking a wide range of dishes for a variety of clientele
- Preparing and cooking meals for different events/venues
- Knowledge of allergies/dietary requirements
- Maintaining good hygiene practices at all times
Your personality, experience, and qualifications
We are eager to speak to chefs of all levels who have a minimum of one year of experience. You will have sound knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements, as well as knowledge of health and safety procedures.
A valid PVG would be beneficial for many of the assignments, however, is not essential.
