Your rate of pay and hours of work
In this role, you will receive an hourly rate of £16, paid weekly, along with additional accrued holiday pay. This position is temporary, offering flexibility with a variety of shifts available from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, seven days a week. Tailor your schedule to suit your needs!
Your responsibilities in your new role
As the PVG Chef, you play a crucial role within the home, preparing delicious meals for residents and aiding in post-service cleanup. Close collaboration with other kitchen team members is essential to ensure the prompt and accurate preparation of all food orders, all while adhering to health and safety regulations. Your culinary skills will significantly enhance the overall dining experience for the residents, ensuring it is both seamless and delightful.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
To thrive in this position, it is imperative to showcase a proven track record as a Chef in a similar environment, coupled with holding or the capacity to obtain PVG/DBS checks. An advantageous qualification includes Food Hygiene Level 2 certification. Your success will also hinge on your capacity to maintain composure in bustling and high-pressure scenarios, coupled with a keen eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills.
