Stafffinders is actively seeking devoted, experienced, and passionate Care Home Chefs to fill numerous temporary positions in healthcare and care home facilities throughout Edinburgh and its nearby regions. 


Your rate of pay and hours of work

The role provides outstanding flexibility and a competitive salary ranging from £13 to £14 per hour, with holiday pay accrued on top. Working hours are variable throughout the week, allowing candidates to choose schedules that align with their individual availability.


Responsibilities in your new role

As a Care Home Chef, your daily tasks will involve skilfully preparing meals to meet specific dietary needs and ensuring the provision of high-quality snacks and beverages throughout the working day. Additionally, you'll be responsible for maintaining and restocking all food and kitchen supplies while collaborating with the team.


Your personality, experience and qualifications 

We eagerly welcome applications from candidates with prior experience in a similar role within healthcare and care home settings. It is essential for you to be at ease in a fast-paced kitchen, possess the drive to learn on the job, and consistently provide exceptional customer service. Your confidence in expressing creativity and introducing new ideas will be highly valued, as well as your ability to be an essential team player and communicate effectively with all members of the venues.
