We’re seeking an Electrical Maintenance Manager with strong, hands-on problem-solving experience in food manufacturing to join a well-established, family-run business.

As the Electrical Maintenance Manager, you'll help keep everything running smoothly and reliably. Your main tasks will include, planning maintenance schedules to prevent problems and quickly fixing urgent breakdowns, managing repairs and new installations for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and refrigeration systems, getting necessary parts and services from external contractors, and keeping the building and facilities safe and compliant with health and safety rules.

You will also work with the Head of Production and site leaders to boost reliability, minimize downtime.

You’ll have experience in a similar role within manufacturing or food production, or a strong background in relevant maintenance work. You should bring excellent problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach, especially when working to tight timescales.

You’ll need a good knowledge of engineering best practices and compliance standards. We also expect you to have experience with budget management, procurement and working with external contractors.

But above all, we want someone with a positive, can-do attitude who is always keen to learn and grow.
