What you will get in your new role

• A salary of £28,000 to £32,000 per annum, dependant on experience,

• Shifts 5/7 days, including some but not every weekend.

• 7am to 4.30pm shift times, giving much sought after work-life balance.

• Minimum 40 hours per week, with hourly pay meaning you are paid for all additional time worked.

 

Responsibilities in your new role as Production Chef

As a key member of the kitchen production team, you will aid in the preparation of a range of delicious butcher-based meals, including steak pies, sausage rolls and lasagnes. Your role will involve ensuring all paperwork aligns with EHO regulations, following recipes meticulously, maintaining consistent portion sizes and presentation and upholding the highest standards of taste, hygiene, and safety. You’ll assist in managing stock levels, keeping the production kitchen organised, and ensuring cleanliness and proper sanitation practices are followed.

In addition to the above, there may be occasion where you will assist with the Cafe kitchen.
 

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We’re looking for individuals who thrive in a high-volume, high standard production kitchen environment and take pride in delivering a quality product consistently. You will possess excellent teamwork skills, enabling you to maintain a fast-paced atmosphere effortlessly. A solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards is essential, and previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous.
