Responsibilities in your new role as Sous Chef

As our clients new Sous Chef, you will be at the heart of their kitchen operations, demonstrating hands-on expertise in cooking, plating, and meticulously preparing ingredients to a consistently high standard. A key part of your role will involve supervising, training, and guiding the talented junior staff, nurturing their development. You will confidently lead the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, ensuring every dish meets our exacting quality standards. Upholding strict health, safety, and hygiene standards (HACCP) is paramount, and you'll also have the exciting opportunity to assist the Head Chef with creative menu development and innovative recipe creation.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Chef with previous experience at a similar level within a boutique hotel environment. Your proven track record of development and progression in a high standard kitchen will be highly valued. While not essential, being a driver would be advantageous given the stunning, albeit remote, Highland location. Crucially, you must be adaptable and eager to embrace living in a picturesque, rural setting. You'll possess a strong command of English and be ready to immerse yourself in a role where your passion for food and leadership skills can truly shine.
