Responsibilities in your new role as Head Chef

You'll be the creative force behind our clients hotel kitchen, crafting innovative dishes and developing seasonal menus that perfectly align with our establishment's unique vision. Your leadership will be pivotal in guiding our talented brigade, expertly managing staff, overseeing stock ordering, and ensuring seamless service delivery from the pass. You will uphold the highest standards of food preparation, taste, and presentation, whilst diligently managing food costs, Gross Profit (GP) margins, and maintaining stringent stock control. Furthermore, you will be a mentor to the team, fostering their development and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are not just met, but exceeded.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

Our client is looking for ambitious Head Chef who thrives in a high standard environment and can inspire a team to deliver exceptional results. Your commitment to maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness and food quality will be evident in every aspect of your work. Adaptability to living in a remote yet beautiful location is key, and while being a driver is advantageous, it is not essential. You will have a proven track record of longevity and progression in similar Senior Chef roles within the Hospitality industry, ideally within country house or rural settings.
